Ali Abdulqader Al-Nuaimi is an Authorized Director and Co-Founder of the firm, heading the
Litigation Department while also serving as Senior Associate in the Trade and Intellectual Property
Department. He has experience representing individuals and corporates in criminal, civil,
administrative, and labour disputes before Iraqi courts, alongside advisory work on trade law and
intellectual property matters.
As Head of the Litigation Department, Ali has built a strong track record representing clients
before Iraqi courts of various jurisdictions, drafting and reviewing pleadings, defence memoranda,
and legal responses grounded in precise legal reasoning. His litigation practice encompasses
criminal, civil, administrative, and labour matters, providing clients with comprehensive legal
advice tailored to their specific needs.
In his capacity as Senior Associate in the Trade and Intellectual Property Department, Ali advises
clients on trade-related matters and the protection and enforcement of intellectual property
rights, complementing his litigation practice with a strong commercial and regulatory perspective.
He is recognised for his strong familiarity with court procedures and judicial practices in Iraq, as
well as his ability to analyse complex legal issues and translate them into practical, effective
solutions. As Co-Founder, Ali has also played a key role in shaping the firm’s litigation practice and
mentoring junior lawyers throughout the litigation process.
He is further recognised for his high-level interpersonal and communication skills, his ability to
build strong professional relationships, and his capacity to adapt quickly and manage case
pressure effectively, even under urgent and demanding circumstances.
Ali is currently expanding his expertise into international commercial law and arbitration, with a
view to further strengthening the firm’s cross-border litigation and corporate legal capabilities.
